<p>PURPOSE:To provide a mechanism for adjusting tension of a rotary.' drum head capable of making a tuning operation of a drum which can be easily and rapidly carried out and selecting sound quality having versatility and original sound quality by changing intervals even during the course of performance. CONSTITUTION:This mechanism is composed of a tension controller 2 for a drum head flange (DHF.T), the legs of the DHF.T2 to be inserted into an upper aperture on a pot mouth-shaped port 10 mounted at first and second drum shells 3, 7 fixed by means of bolts, etc., to hoops 5, 6 supporting the drum head 1 and the DHF.T2, a washer 11 to prevent natural loosening of the fit of spirals 6, 8 for fitting the first, second drum shells 3, 7 to each other, throttles 12, 12a installed in the pot mouth-shaped port 10 having sound holes 9 or near the lower aperture and in the respective sound holes 9, a knob 13 to control the opening degrees thereof and fine holes for passing the respective holes of the DHF.T2 into the hoops 5.</p> |
