<p>PURPOSE:To set a rectangular insulation body to a U-bolt strongly by a metal rod, and prevent removal by use for a long period by providing a rectangular groove in the whole side part of the U-bolt to get in contact with the subject pipe in an insulation pipe supporting tool comprising the U-bolt, a supporting plate, insulation shock absorbing agent, etc. CONSTITUTION:In a supporting tool for pipings for gas or city water, a rectangular groove 12 is provided in the whole side part of a U-bolt 1 to get in contact with the subject pipe 8 to be fastened to a frame 4 through a support plate 3. In this groove 12, a rectangular insulation mould 6 (rectangular insulation body) of synthetic resin having a thickness exceeding the depth of the groove 12 and provided with a groove having a U-shaped cross sectional surface in the whole surface to get in contact with a groove bottom surface is engaged. This rectangular insulation body 6 is fixed by inserting a metal rod of a little larger diameter than the diameter of the U-letter groove into the U-letter groove, and pressing the rectangular insulation body 6 to the rectangular groove 12 in the U-bolt 1. This rectangular insulation body 6 is favorably formed using ethylene tetrafluoride including filler.</p> |
