PURPOSE:To prevent an overshooting excess humidity in an area to be air conditioned in the case of regulating the humidity of the area to be air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:A humidifier comprises humidifying means H for humidifying the air SA to be fed to an area Z to be air conditioned and humidity control means CH for controlling the means H based on the detected information of humidity detecting means Sh to regulate the humidity state of the area Z to be air conditioned. Accordingly, the means Sh detects the absolute humidity xa of the air A to be humidified to be supplied to the means H or detects the absolute humidity xs of the air SA after humidifying to be fed from the means H to the area Z to be air conditioned. The means Ch controls the means H based on the detected absolute humidity of the means Sh to regulate the absolute humidity xs of the air Sa after humidifying to be fed from the means H to the area Z to be air conditioned to a predetermined target absolute humidity xsm. |
