PURPOSE:To provide a microcomputer device free from the missetting of an ID number in the case of connecting a peripheral equipment to a device body. CONSTITUTION:Hard disk drives(HDDs) 14a to 14d to be peripheral equipments are respectively provided with SCSI connectors 30a to 30d and ID setting connectors 31a to 31d. The connectors 31a to 31d are respectively connected to ID setting circuits 34a to 34d arranged on the device body side. The circuits 34a to 34d are circuits for generating 3-bit data and respectively generate the data of negative logic '2' to '5'. These data are inputted to an SCSI controller (LSI) 33 in the device body through the connectors 31a to 31d and the connectors 30a to 30d. Thereby even when an ID number is not set up on the HDD side, the ID number is automatic; ally set up and whether or not the HDDs 14a to 14d are connected can be judged in accordance with the presence or absence of the input of the ID numbers. |
