<p>PURPOSE:To form a current transformer in such a way that its main body composed of an electromagnetic element can be separated from a current detecting section composed of an electronic circuit element. CONSTITUTION:The main body 9 of a current transformer is composed of an iron core 1 having a gap in a part of the magnetic path; and a secondary winding 5 wound around the iron core 1. A current detecting section 12 is composed of a magnetism detecting element 3 placed in the gap in the iron core 1; an amplifier 4 that feeds current to the secondary winding 5 according to the output of the magnetism detecting element 3; and a detecting resistor 6 that detects current passing through the secondary winding 5. Male connecting terminal 14a, 14b and a fitting projection 13 formed on the current detecting section 12 are fit into female connecting terminals 11a, 11b and a fitting recess formed on the main body 9 of the current transformer, respectively.</p> |
