<p>PURPOSE:To execute work for removing the jammed sheet and maintaining, etc., not unidirectionally but freely from the circumference of a device main body by supporting an upper unit so as to let it move upward with respect to a lower unit in a state where the upper unit is kept in a nearly horizontal posture. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is provided with the upper and lower units l and 2 connected separably from each other and an image forming part. including a photoreceptor 6 for transferring an image to a paper sheet in the upper unit 1. Moreover, the lower unit 2 disposed under the upper unit 1 is provided with a paper feeding part, feeding the sheet toward the photoreceptor 6 and a paper carrying part carrying the sheet from the paper feeding part to the upper unit 1 and further, the upper unit 1 is provided with a carrying part for ejecting the paper which carries the sheet after the image is formed, fed from the lower unit 2 for ejecting. The upper unit l is supported to move upward just above the lower unit 2 in the state where the upper unit 1 is kept in the nearly horizontal posture, so that at least a part of a paper carrying path is exposed.</p> |
