PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter satisfying the accuracy of an impact area of an ink droplet at the time of jetting out of an ink jet head, the transparency of a colored part (pixel), bleeding and light resistance by specifying a dye included in the ink. CONSTITUTION:The ink includes at least the dye expressed by formula I. In formula 1, R<1> represents H, -COOM, -COR<8> or a compound expressed by formula II, R<2> represents H or -CH3, R<3> represents H, -CH3, -OCH3, -C2H4OH or compound expressed by formula III and formula 1V, each of R<4>-R<7> represents H, -CH3, -Cl or -SO3M, R<8> represents 1-2C alkyl group, R<9> represents a 1-4C alkyl group and M represents an alkali metal or an ammonium. And the concn. of the dye in the ink is 0.1-15wt.% and the ink includes 5-50wt.% solvent having 150-250 deg.C b.p. A substrate is made by forming an ink receiving layer on a transparent supporting body. The material forming the receiving layer contains at least a polymer including a water soluble acrylic monomer unit or a cellulose based water soluble polymer. |
