<p>PURPOSE:To provide a production method of a color filter and the producing device therefor by which a coloring material (color filter material) can be applied to uniform film thickness on a substrate while pigments can be uniformly dispersed. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave generator 10 is disposed on the end of a coating pipe 5 or in a rotating coating device 6 so that the color filter material 1 is treated with ultrasonic waves before applying or while applying to a substrate 7. By this method, characteristics of the material 1 are changed from those of a non-Newtonian fluid to those of a Newtonian fluid. Moreover, the material 1 can be applied to the substrate 7 while the characteristics as a Newtonian fluid are maintained. As a result, the color filter material 1 can be applied to uniform film thickness on the substrate 7 with good reproducibility, and the pigment can be uniformly dispersed. Thus, the obtd. color filter has high quality without uneven distribution of film thickness or irregular color.</p> |
