CONSTITUTION:The length of one picture of image data to which interframe predictive encoding is applied is checked by a code length inspector 109, and it is transmitted via a modulator 103, a transmission line 104 and a decoder 105 only when it shows a value over a prescribed value, and the recording on a data memory device 108 and restoration by an information source decoder 106 are performed. In this way, the video of a monitoring camera in a factory or warehouse remains unchanged at night ordinarily, and it changes when certain abnormality occurs. At this time, since the code length of encoded image data of one picture to which the inter-frame predictive encoding is applied is increased, the transmission/recording of the image data can be performed only when the abnormality occurs, which improves efficiency.</p> |
