TICKET JAM PROCESSING METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC TICKET EXAMINATION MACHINE

PURPOSE:To easily and quickly collect all unjammed tickets when a ticket jam occurs in an automatic ticket examination machine which collects and examines plural tickets. CONSTITUTION:When a ticket jam occurs, the relevant ticket is taken out of the corresponding ticket transfer mechanism and all ticket transfer mechanisms 1-7 are actuated so that other tickets remaining in the relevant ticket transfer mechanism are transferred to a ticket take-out port A12. Thus all unjammed tickets are collected at the port A12. Meanwhile the operation of the relevant ticket transfer mechanism is stopped when the ticket jam occurs, and the tickets are transferred by other ticket transfer mechanisms. The operations of these transfer mechanisms are carried on until their tickets reach each prescribed ticket collecting position. Thus all unjammed tickets can be collected at the ticket collecting positions 1a-7a of the mechanisms 1-7 respectively.
