PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to simplify structure by employing such constitution that no changeover switch to release a scrambling signal is required when AV equipment is set. CONSTITUTION:When a user applies the power source of a channel selector, a control part 7 judges whether or not the input of the scrambling signal exists in broadcast information inputted to a tuner main body 2 by a detection signal A. In such a case, when no scrambling signal is inputted, the movable contact 6c of an internal selector 6 is left as being connected to a first switch contact point 6a side, and information is outputted by connecting the main body 2 to an output terminal 1e. While, when the scrambling signal is inputted, the contact 6c is switched to a second switch contact point 6b side, and the information is outputted by connecting the main body 2 to the terminal 1e via a decoder 4. In this way, since broadcast to a TV 5 side is performed by releasing the scrambling signal when the decode 4 is connected, the broadcast provided with the scrambling signal such as a pay broadcast can be viewed without receiving disturbance. |
