PURPOSE:To provide an anchoring means of an optical cable capable of easily anchoring the optical cable provided with tension members at its center. CONSTITUTION:This anchoring means has a pipe-shaped anchoring means body 1 having an optical cable leading-in port 4 for leading in the optical cable 20 and an optical fiber leading-out port 9 for leading out the optical fiber 23 drawn out of the end of the optical cable 20. A flexible pipe 7 is connected to the optical fiber drawing-out port 9 for drawing out the optical fiber 23 of this anchoring means body 1. The anchoring means body 1 has a tension member fixing part 11 which fixes the tension members 21 drawn out of the end of the optical fiber cable 20 and an anchoring means body fixing part 15 for fixing the anchoring means body 1 to another member. Then, the optical fibers 23 drawn out of the terminal of the hard optical cable 20 provided with the tension members at its cable are drawn out of the flexible pipe 7 disposed at the anchoring means body and, therefore, drawing around of the flexible pipe 7 is made possible even in a narrow space and housing of an optical terminating box within an existing optical distributing apparatus is made possible. |
