<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the chip size of a peripheral LSI chip and to increase chip mounting density on a substrate while maintaining the high function of the chip. CONSTITUTION:This electronic equipment is constituted so that data transfer between a CPU chip 10 and a peripheral LSI chip 30 is executed through serial interfaces. When a synchronizing code, a control code and one or more various data are successively sent from the chip 10 to the chip 30, the chip 30 receiving these data is synchronized by the detection of the synchronizing code, stores the following control code to determine its corresponding control mode, and when necessary, executes the processing of the following one or more data in accordance with the determined control mode. When data are successively sent from the chip 30 to the chip 10 in the order of a synchronizing code and a control code or the synchronizing code and data, the chip 10 receiving these data is synchronized by the detection of the synchronizing code and enters the following control code or data into its inside.</p> |
