<p>PURPOSE:To detect the pressure of a connected sub-substrate and the presence of an element while using only a pair of detecting circuits concerning the control arithmetic unit composed of more than one of a main substrate and the sub- substrate. CONSTITUTION:An address setting means 12 for setting first addresses B6 and B7 and a comparing means 11 for comparing second addresses A6 and A7 transmitted from a main substrate B11 with the first addresses B6 and B7 and outputting the compared result from a terminal EQU are provided on a sub-substrate B21. The main substrate B11 is provided with a timer 6 to be started by receiving a signal from the terminal REQ outputted simultaneously with the output of address signals including the second addresses A6 and A7 outputted from terminals A0-A7 so that an unequal signal is outputted from a terminal TUP after the lapse of a prescribed time when the second addresses are not those corresponding to elements on the main substrate B11 and a signal S13 inputted from the comparing means 11 through a logic circuit 13 does not have a signal value indicating equality. Then, the inequality signal from the timer 6 is inputted to a terminal INT and a control arithmetic means 1 performs processing for dealing with the absence of address-designated elements.</p> |
