PURPOSE:To obtain an emission image subjected to absorptive correction within a practical measuring time. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 22 controls a bed unit 15 through a controller 21. A subject is moved significantly with respect to a gantry 11 in order to collect the emission data over a wide range. A projection image is produced from a unit 25 based on an image data reconstituted by a unit 24. The projection image is projected onto a display 26 and when a range is designated on the screen by means of a joy stick 27, the CPU 22 controls the gantry 11 and the bed unit 15 to perform the transmission measurement only within the designated range.
