PURPOSE:To obtain a load driver in which an N-type semiconductor element can be used as a high side switching means by obtaining a control voltage higher than the power supply voltage through simple and highly reliable circuitry. CONSTITUTION:In a circuit for controlling the average current by turning a power supply voltage VB being applied to a load 40 ON/OFF at a predetermined ratio through a switch means Sw1, a capacitor is charged with the potential different generated between the load and the power supply when the switch means Sw 1 is turned ON and OFF. A control voltage higher than the power supply voltage VB is fed to a drive circuit 20 using the charges stored in the capacitor. |
