PURPOSE:To obtain an acceleration and deceleration control apparatus by which an electric motor can be accelerated and decelerated within an overload-resistant amount without resetting the acceleration-and-deceleration time even when the flywheel effect of the electric motor driven by an inverter is changed. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration-inclination-rate upper-limit limiter 21 is installed at an acceleration inclination rate Acc which is inputted by an acceleration-and- deceleration-inclination-rate arithmetic circuit 12, and a deceleration-inclination-rate upper-limit limiter 22 is installed at a deceleration-inclination rate Dcc so as to relax the change rate of output frequent data F0 which is outputted by an output-frequency arithmetic circuit 11. An inverter output current is monitored by a current transformer 30, the respective limiters are operated only when a current value exceeds a first set value, and the change rate of the output frequency data F0 is relaxed. Alternatively, a second set value is decided on the lower side of the first set value. Inversely, the acceleration inclination rate Acc or the deceleration inclination rate Dcc is made large when the inverter output current is set at the second set value or lower. The change rate of the output frequency data F0 is made large, and of the starting time of an electric motor can be shortened. |
