PURPOSE:To prevent remaining of water in a drain water tank of a hopper device and penetration of air into a reheating circulation passage by making a drive to drain the water in the drain water tank when an upper limit water level is reached in the tank and also by stopping a draining operation when a lower limit water level is reached. CONSTITUTION:An automatic bath heater with a hopper device is equipped with a reheating mechanism 1 and a hot water supply mechanism 2. In this case, upper-limit and lower-limit water level switches 40 and 50 are provided for a drain water tank 17. The bottom part of the drain water tank 17 is connected to a reheating circulation passage 5 by a drain water passage 28, and a check valve 21 and a draining solenoid valve 22 are provided for the drain water passage 28. When an upper limit water level is reached, the drain water passage 28 side is connected to the reheating circulation passage 5 by a two-way valve 33 and the draining solenoid valve 22 is opened, while water in the drain water tank 17 is discharged into a bathtub 4 by a circulating pump 6. When a lower limit water level is reached, on the other hand, the draining solenoid valve 22 is closed while a bathtub-side circulation passage 32 is switched over to a pump-side circulation passage by the two-way valve 33. |
