Substituted pyrazine derivatives are disclosed of general formula I, wherein n, X and Z have the following meanings: X represents an oxygen or sulphur atom, or a sulphoxide or sulphone group; n is 0, 1 or 2; Z is a group (a), (b), (c) or (d), wherein Y represents oxygen or sulphur, R<6> represents hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, a halogen or alkyl halide, and p is 0 or 1; and R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4> and R<5> have the meanings shown in claim 1. Also disclosed are salts of compounds (I) commonly used in agriculture.
