Hydraulic distributor with pressure compensation including: a body (1) equipped with a movable slide valve (4); a passage (12) in the body for connecting to working orifices (A, B) a distribution chamber (11), associated with the slide valve and capable of being connected selectively to an intake orifice (P) by the moved slide valve; a duct (8) for the line for detecting load combined with means (14) for selecting the highest pressure taken from among the pressure prevailing in the duct and the pressure of the fluid in the distributor; and means (14) for compensating for the pressure which are placed in the passage (12) and are sensitive to the difference between the pressures in the passage and in the duct to generate a fixed pressure drop in the pressurised fluid flowing in the passage towards the working orifices (A, B), the pressure compensation means being combined with means for selecting the maximum pressure so that, if the pressure in the duct is greater than or equal to the pressure of the fluid coming from the slide valve, there is no communication between the passage and the duct and the pressure in the duct retains its value or, if the pressure in the duct is less than the pressure in the fluid coming from the slide valve, a communication is set up between the passage and the duct and the pressure in the duct becomes that of the pressurised fluid. ……
