Safety control circuit for opening or clearing of drives

The safety control circuit for release and clearing of drives has a rectifier (25) coupled to an ac supply and provides power for the emergency stop circuit (NOT-AUS). This has two contacts (3, 4) that connect with the coils of a pair of auxiliary relays (a, b) that have contacts (Ka 1,2 and Kb 1,2). A capacitor (7) is coupled into the second relay circuit to provide a memory function and so generates a delay in operation between the two relays. A push button switch (5) can be operated to deenergise the second relay.
