Outer vehicle door handle

The handle part (2) and the handle-recess (3) form separate components symmetrical with a centre longitudinal axis (X-X). The handle part and recess are joined and inserted as a combined element into a front door (V). The handle recess is inserted by itself into a back-door. The handle part consists of a plate into an opening in which the handle-recess is inserted. The recess has an outer rim around it running flush with the outer surface of the handle part.
