The invention relates to a dish made from plastic foam designed for holding meat, fish or similar foods. The dish is provided with a bottom and with side walls which are joined to the circumference of the bottom and run upwards from the bottom. Arranged in the bottom are passages which extend within the bottom, while underneath, the dish is covered with a film which is attached to the dish and is liquid-impermeable. The liquid-impermeable film covering the bottom extends around the dish and also over at least part of the outsides of the side walls running upwards.
