Surface tension measurement esp. in molten metal

Arrangement for measuring surface tension with a capillary tube (2) which enters through the wall of the vessel (1), containing the liquid, and is secured to it by a fixture (4) outside the vessel which also acts as support for the vessel. Fixture (4) is pref. at the bottom of vessel (1). The end of the capillary inside the liquid is formed into a nozzle. Also claimed is the instrumentation required for this.
