It is provided with a longitudinal support 2 mounted on a framework 1 and framed by two lateral, vertical and parallel, guides 9 and 10, it being possible to adjust the position of the latter in order to adapt its distancing to the thickness of the spring casing which is entrained by a pushing device 4, actuated by a gear motor 5, intermittently towards the work zone of two stapling heads 12-12', where a retractable tamping device 15 directly receives the action of the springs and, as a function of the diameter of the latter, adjusts the positioning of the rocker acting on the proximity detector which, in turn, controls the movement of the gear motor 5 so that each spring is perfectly opposite the stapling heads 12. Beyond these stapling heads there is a tray 21 which rocks by means of a lower pneumatic cylinder capable of overturning the spring casing 3 once stapling of all the springs of one of its sides has taken place so that the casing is in a condition such as to continue receiving the action of the machine along another edge, until its entire perimeter has been completed. <IMAGE>
