A vertical post part is secured to the two-part base, consisting of two mirror-shaped halves combined at a vertical separation plane. In the assembled state the base forms a sleeve into which the post part is insertable. Pref. the sleeve surrounds the foot of the post part which may consist of several post sections, insertable positively onto each other. The sections are held by hooks which can be released for maintenance, cleaning, or replacement of the sections.
