An injection assembly, at least comprising a liquid container (2) with an outflow opening (11), and a piston (3) displaceable therein, a suction needle (4) with a needle fitting which is adapted to be releasably fitted on or in the outflow opening (11) of the liquid container (2), and an injection needle (6) with a needle fitting which is adapted to be permanently fixed on or in the outflow opening of the liquid container, said assembly comprising an auxiliary coupling part (10; 40; 60) which is or can be fixed in the outflow opening (11) of the liquid container (2), which, on the one hand, is or can be connected with the needle fitting of the injection needle (6), and which, on the other hand, comprises second coupling means which can be permanently coupled with the first coupling means of the piston (2) in the presence of the injection needle (6), which coupling, however, cannot take place in the presence of the suction needle (4).
