The invention relates to a transmission for two rotatable shafts which lie a short distance apart over part of their length and run virtually parallel to one another, at least one of the two shafts being preloaded away from the other shaft to such an extent that the distance between the shafts at a distance from the parallel section is greater than the distance between the shafts in the parallel section.
