Cable (10) for conveying electrical energy or communications comprising a central lead (11), an insulating layer (12) coaxial to said conductor, a shield (13) and an outer sheath (14). The insulating layer (12) and the outer sheath (14) are made of insulating polymers such as polyvinyl chloride or polyethylene, while the central lead (11) and the shield (13) are made of intrinsically conducting thermoplastic or crosslinked polymers. The cable is formed by extrusion of its different components using a multi-channel extrusion head (15).
