The system is of the combination type, handling several cables at the same time. It is provided with a combination arm (97), which orientates and positions several cables and cable ends. It is provided with several orientation components (84) and with several movable jaws (80) controlled by cylinders (81). The combination arm positions the cable ends in joining casings by moving away from each other and downwards at the same time. Combination severing and combination contact pressing devices are mounted on a carriage which moves on a linear guiding system to position the joining casings under the cable ends coming from the severing process. The occasional coupling piece is fed with the aid of a magazine. |
