<p>The invention relates to a holder (1) for holding a tool such as a chisel or a punch. The holder (1) comprises a hollow handle (2) having a L-shaped cradle head (3). An end of a chain (4) is attached to the exterior (6) of the handle (2) and extends over the cradle head (3) and inside the handle (2). The other end of the chain (4) is connected to a threaded rod (5) which can be moved into or out of the handle interior by rotating a wing nut (14). This movement changes the size of a tool receiving space defined between the chain (4) and cradle head (3), allowing the chain (4) to be wrapped around the shanks (18) of various tools to hold them against the cradle head (3).</p> |
