NEUROTROPIC AND SEDATIVE AGENT AND A METHOD OF OBTAINING THE SAME

The proposed neurotropic and sedative substance contains mexidol and a carrier and is in the form of a tablet with a core containing 16.7-41.6 % by weight mexidol and auxiliary agents and a polymer coating. The auxiliary agents in the core comprise kaolin (16.7-33.3 %), potato starch (16.7-33.3 %), calcium stearate (0.3-0.5 %), stearic acid (0.3-0.5 %), talc (0.5-1.00 %), and methyl cellulose (25.0-50.0 %). The proposed method of obtaining this neurotropic and sedative substance in the form of a coated tablet involves mixing mexidol, starch and kaolin together and adding a methyl cellulose solution, granulating, drying and dusting the mixture with calcium stearate and stearic acid, pressing it into tablets and treating it with a solution of methyl cellulose in alcohol, titanium dioxide and serge 80.
