Prodn. of near-net-shape metallic components

Prodn. of near-net-shape metallic components comprises achieving the near-net-shape through a metallic moulding material (3), which melts at a lower temp. than the material of the component (1). The material of the component and/or a part of the later component is powdery. The metallic moulding material is fused after hot isostatic pressing. In an alternative process, the near-net-shape is achieved with a metallic moulding material, which is released from the component after hot isostatically pressing the component in a (electro)chemically way.
