A soft elastomeric disc for removing polymeric compositions from an underlying substrate. The disc is useful for removing decorative decals, stripes, graphics, emblems, protective moldings, paint and adhesive. The method used involves the rotation of the disc, for instance by a power-tool drive, against the substrate such that frictional heating and abrasion of the polymeric composition occurs.
