PURPOSE:To provide a sentence processor capable of improving operability for tab setting considering efficient editing processing and tab setting/resetting. CONSTITUTION:The sentence processor is constituted of a display means 11 capable of displaying characters having mutually different sizes, a set/reset instructing means 2 for instructing tab setting or resetting, a size specifying means 3 for specifying the reference size of a character displayed on the means 11, a position calculating means 4 for determining a tab setting or resetting position from the position of a character pointed out by a cursor and the reference size when tab setting or resetting is instructed by the means 2, and a tab setting means 5 for setting up a tab on the position determined by the means 4. |
