PURPOSE:To provide an information processor having plural general dictionary retrieving means independent of KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character conversion and character string analyzing algorithm and also independent of a dictionary storing medium. CONSTITUTION:When a character string analyzing means 102 inputs a character string inputted from an input means 101 to a dictionary managing means 104, the means 104 inputs the character string to plural dictionary retrieving means 105A to 105N. Each dictionary retrieving means 105 outputs the identifier (ID) of a word coincident with the character string to the means 104, which adds the ID of the dictionary retrieving means 105 concerned to the ID of the word and outputs the added result to the means 102. Then the means 102 inputs the ID and a command to the means 104, which inputs the command to the dictionary retrieving means 105 in accordance with the ID to obtain information such as the part of speech for the word. The means 102 analyzes the input character string based upon the information outputted from the means 104 and outputs the analyzed result to arm output means 103. |
