PURPOSE:To quickly correct an erroneous input by judging the availability of KANA (Japanese syllabary) conversion in each input character for Roman character input/KANA conversion and informing an operator of the erroneous input by an alarm tone. CONSTITUTION:This Japanese word processor 1 with an input error alarm is provided with a storage part 4 for storing data such as characters, a keyboard 5 for inputting characters or the like and an input character comparing data part 9 having 1st to 3rd character comparing data 10 to 12 consisting of vowel groups 13, 15, 17 and consonant groups 14, 16 to be compared with 1st to 3rd inputs. The processor 1 is also provided with an input error judging part 8 for comparing the input character comparing data with an inputted character and judging the availability of KANA character conversion, a character conversion control part 3 for executing KANA conversion for the input character judged that its KANA character conversion is available by the judging part 8, a buzzer 7 capable of generating an alarm tone at the occurrence of an input error, and a display part 6 for displaying the input character, the KANA character converted by the control part 3, and so on. |
