At least three voltage ranges are selected for the input voltage (UE). Adjustments independent of each other can be carried out by switching on or off of circuit elements. Switchable current sources are provided, to which the voltage to be evaluated is supplied, and depending on the level of the prevailing voltage are switched on and off. The current sources are formed by at least one operation amplifier which controls a transistor. The switching on with determined voltages (US1,US2), results across characteristic resistances.
