ABS braking system e.g. for FWD and two-wheel drive motor vehicles
摘要
The braking system has brake control devices (31, to 38) between he master brake system (2) and the wheel brakes (51, 54). Wheel speed monitors on each wheel are connected to the ABS control (10) which computes actual road speed and the amount of wheel slip per wheel. The system also computes the effective road grip for each wheel. The difference between the front and rear wheel speeds provides a slew signal, which is used to modulate the overall braking effect. The computed road speed of each wheel is compared with reference patterns to determine the separate road grips and the actual road speed etc. The rate of change of wheel dynamics provides a rapid response in the brake control.
