The servicing device (7) has a lifting frame (5) with servicing elements (8), which can travel on castors. In its travelling direction the frame has an undercarriage (6,6'), at its front and rear end, with at least four castors. The undercarriages form independent modules. At least one undercarriage is fitted with a drive (13). The frame ends are mounted each on an undercarriage in a height-adjustable manner. The frame may be hinged to the end of the undercarriages or joined by a lever link (17).
