SUITCASE WITH VARIABLE CAPACITY

A suitcase with variable capacity has a middle part (10) that consists of two hinged, stable frame halves (20, 30) for supporting two shells (41, 42; 51, 52) that define the inner space of the suitcase. The shells (41, 42; 51, 52) are detachably joined to the halves (20, 30) of the frame of the middle part (10), so that suitcase shells having various depths may be used with the same middle part. Also disclosed is a suitcase assembly that consists of a middle part and of two or several pairs of shells.
