The invention takes as a starting point an installation erected on a flat foundation for detachable retention of electric wires 5, where there is one carrier 1 per wire, stuck to the foundation only by adhesive. To create a practical system for retaining and routing a lightning conductor wire, which can be fastened more securely onto sloping outside surfaces of roof by avoiding stone filling, without any danger of damage to the roof cover sheet, the installation has under the carrier a counter-plate 6 with a strip of plastic foil 8 clamped between them. At each end the strip protrudes and this is glued or heat-welded to the roof surface. The carrier has clips 4 for the wire.
