Reproducing auxiliary information in TV or radio signals

The method provides for reproduction of auxiliary information contained in television or radio programme signals, partic. auxiliary information in the form of text or graphics. The auxiliary information is transmitted in the programme signal in temporal correlation with the programme content and is decoded on reception. The received auxiliary information, at the receiver end, is temporarily stored for a predetermined period. Upon a first command from the user, clear text and/or graphics contained in the last received information are reproduced for a predetermined time. During this time, on a second command from the user, order or selection information associated with the text or graphics are taken out and are relayed to an exchange, i.e. a modem.
