PURPOSE:To detect the trouble of a governor by comparing the state of the change of the rotational speed of a generator, the speed set value of the governor and a load-limiting set value and the state of the alteration of operation variation at the final step of the governor. CONSTITUTION:A trouble diagnostic device for a governor is provided with a parallel operation detector 8 detecting the parallel operation of a power plant, a speed detector 4 detecting the rotational speed of a generator 20, a speed set-position detector 5 for the governor 22, a load-limiting set-position detector 6 for the governor 22, an operation variation detector 7 detecting the operation variation of a servomotor 12 and a comparison decision means 3. When the power plant conducts parallel operation with an electric system, the abnormal operation of the governor is detected on the basis of the same state or the different state of the change of each value, thus outputting an alarm signal. |
