Transmission filter for an echo canceller

The echo compensator is inserted between the transmission line (L) and transmission and reception signal paths, with an adaptive filter (AF) estimating the echo signal from the transmission signal (SS), to apply an estimated digital echo signal (Y) to a compensator (K) inserted in the reception signal path, for reducing the echo component in the reception signal (ES). The transmission signal is fed to a D/A converter (DA), with a transmission filter (SF) inserted in the transmission path between the D/A converter and the transmission device (GS) connected to the transmission line.
