PURPOSE:To externally and an external adder to toner grains by sending the toner grains and the external adder to a mixing area held in a working piece and applying a moving magnetic field from the outside to the mixing area. CONSTITUTION:Adjusted toner grains and the external address are previously blended at a prescribed rate to mix them preparatorily. A moving magnetic field is applied to the preparatorily mixed toner grains and external adder from the outside in a mixing area having an electromagnetic mixing means and random motion is generated in the working piece by electromagnetic force based upon the mutual action with the moving magnetic field to mix and disperse the toner grains and external adders to form a developer. Thus, the external adder is externally added to the toner grains by applying the moving magnetic field from the external to the mixing area and generating random motion in the working piece by electromagnetic force based upon the mutual action with the moving magnetic field. |
