<p>A cage for the transport of live birds, wherein the top wall (18) is constituted by a lid openable on rising hinges at the back corners of the cage and the front wall (14) of the cage is openable about a bottom edge pivot to form a ramp up which birds may be walked into the cage when the lid is propped open, whereafter, by virtue of the rising hinges, the lid can be lowered without squashing the birds at the back of the cage at which the lid is hinged. <MATH></p> |
