PURPOSE:To prevent the damage and secular deterioration of a reflecting member by storing the reflecting member in a hollow hole in a transparent tube. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting tube R consists of a transparent tube 1 molded into a slender cylindrical shape with transparent synthetic resin and a flexible reflecting member 2 in a slender band shape stored in a hollow hole 1a therein. The reflecting member 2 is made from a recurrence reflecting sheet formed by embedding glass beads into both sides of a base material via an adhesive layer, a reflecting film, etc. In the reflecting tube R, when light radiated from a light source on the right side is transmitted through the transparent tube 1 and entered into the reflecting member 2, light reflected from the reflecting member 2 is reflected to a radial direction, as given by an arrow, by the convex lens effect of the transparent tube 1 and almost the half peripery of the transparent tube 1 directed to the light, source side is thus emitted at, high brightness. In this way, by storing the reflecting member 2 in the hollow hole 1a, the damage and secular deterioration of the reflecting member 2 can be prevented. |
