PURPOSE:To allow an inner liner rubber layer to be thin-walled without spoiling durability and internal pressure holding property so as to make a tire lightweight and to reduce rolling resistance. CONSTITUTION:A pneumatic tire is provided with a carcass 6, an inner liner rubber layer 10 continuously disposed on the inner surface, facing a tire inner cavity H, of the carcass 6, and an auxiliary rubber layer 11 disposed further on the inner surface of the inner liner rubber layer 10. The auxiliary rubber layer 11 is formed at an area between the vicinity Y2 of a maximum width point K where a side wall part 4 projects most to the outside in the axial direction of the tire and the vicinity Y1 of the tire axial outer end 5e of a tread part 5. The inner liner rubber layer 10 is formed of a rubber composition in which the content of butyl rubber is largest out of rubber components, and the auxiliary rubber layer 11 is formed of a rubber composition in which the content of natural rubber or diene group synthetic rubber is largest. At the time of vulcanization-molding the tire, a mold lubricant is applied to the outward face of a molding bladder without applying the mold lubricant to the tire inner cavity face HS. |
