PURPOSE:To easily remove duplicated output pages generated when printing is restarted by resetting number of both pages after a printer is abnormally stopped based on a deviation between the number of outputted pages outputted from the printer and the number of transferred pages transferred to the printer by a host apparatus of the printer. CONSTITUTION:A printer 1 receives and outputs print designated page number and image data from a host apparatus 2 of the printer, and comprises a counter 12, duplicated number calculating means 16 and number-of-removing sheets designating means 17. The counter 12 counts the number of outputted pages. The means 16 calculates A = (number of outputted pages)-(print designated page number)+1. The means 17 judges the occurrence of duplicated output pages of A sheets when the calculated A becomes a positive value, and designates to remove the A sheets which has finally outputted of the outputted sheets. |
